I was born and raised in Chico and I can't imagine a better
place to grow up! I graduated from Chico State in 2004 with
a B.A. in Social Science and decided to stay and work in town.
Being a patient at Nelsen Family Dentistry, I've always
admired what a pleasant and friendly office it was, and now
I'm lucky enough to be employed by them! It's a pleasure
to work with a group of people who are ethical and caring and
always put their patients first! |

I have been a dental hygienist in Chico for 5 years now. I work
here at Nelsen Family Dentistry and absolutely love it! Being
a dental hygienist is a very rewarding career and provides many
opportunities for my patients and myself. Experiencing the importance
of good oral health with my patients is fabulous and fulfilling.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 young sons. We love
to camp, playing sports and enjoy traveling. My goal here at
Nelsen Family Dentistry is to make each of your dental appointments

Loma Linda University in 1994 with a degree in Dental Hygiene,

fulfilling career for me. I enjoy working with people and being

wonderful family with my husband and two sons. We love playing

I had the privilege of being the first hygienist to work here at Nelsen Family Dentistry in 2000 when they first opened. After having my first child, my husband and I moved back to Indiana, IL, where we were both originally from. The cold winters and a new job opportunity, as well as family and friends brought us back home to Chico. Our children, as well as running our own moving company, Two Men and a Truck, keep us busy. It's such a treat to come back & work at Nelsen Family Dentistry. Seeing so many of my old patients again, and meeting more new & wonderful people make each day so fulfilling! I love being back, and part of such a great "family" where everyone is treated so genuinely and compassionately, and where excellence is the standard of care! |
